Laurens is a young, actually rather passive boy from up north. He seems very religious, taking a lot of risks to visit an Ettan temple at least once a week, without telling anyone about it.

Laurens is close friends with Ideh, who sees him as a little brother, he also shows interest in Miloor, but Miloor has seen the leftovers of his rages and thinks of him as a creep.
